    The Southern Sarpy Activities Program is a non-profit organization based in Springfield, Nebraska that sponsors youth sports teams in basketball, soccer and volleyball. Teams are divided by age and the entry fees charged cover the costs of practice equipment, game officials, etc. S.S.A.P. board members, coaches, field maintenanc e personnel, and the like are volunteers, and are not paid. 

The Southern Sarpy Activities Program (SSAP) offers annually two ($ 300.00) scholarships to a High School graduating senior. (In the event that we have more than 2 deserving seniors and a tie is reached, we have the option to give more).  The persons receiving the scholarship must be enrolled in a college, university, vocational-technical school or an apprenticeship program pursuing post secondary degree.  Any major is acceptable.
